Northern Adelaide Plains Food Cluster is offering a four-week pre-employment program for an Introduction to Horticulture Food Production in conjunction with Maxima, Northern Adelaide Plains Food Cluster, City of Playford Council and Ironwood.
A program with growth, opportunities, technology, not just picking and packing.
What’s Included
- One week of theory at Virginia Horticulture Centre – Introduction to Horticulture and Horticulture Food Production
- Three weeks practical work – picking, packing, working in glass and grow houses, processing crops, planting, pruning, general upkeep and maintenance of growing facilities and working in a team environment.
