Fees and Refunds

Tuition, Fees, and Charges

The cost of a course varies according to eligibility for government subsidies and the type of study. Government subsidies are available to residents of South Australia.  Students who are not eligible for any subsidies will pay the full fee rate.

Students who receive Commonwealth benefits may be eligible to pay a concession fee. No concessions are available for full fee-paying students. Further details are available on the concessions page.

Information on course fees is listed on each course page.

Students who apply to enrol are advised of their actual course fees when they complete their application to enrol. The fee is based on subsidies, concessions, types of study and the units enrolled.

Only when students complete their enrolment and pay the applicable fees, will they be enrolled to attend class, sit for examinations, receive results, and complete qualifications as well as use amenities and services.

Fee for Service

Fees for self-funded students. The Fee for Service is applied when a student is not eligible for subsidies or where no subsidies are available.

Ironwood Institute will charge the learner for the enrolment application and training product as per the nominated fee schedules on the Course Page.

RPL is an assessment-only process for experienced workers who are seeking formal recognition of their existing skills and knowledge. Cost is 50% of the cost of each unit.

Credit transfer (sometimes known as advanced standing) is awarded when a student has completed the units required for a qualification at another Registered Training Organisation. This may reduce the amount of time it will take you to gain a qualification and reduce the overall cost. Ironwood provides credit transfer free of charge

We have various payment schemes available to help you pay for your qualification.  Please contact Ironwood Admissions to discuss payment options

Please note:

Final payment may vary depending on your chosen payment method and if you have any credit transfers. Please contact our enrolments team on 08 8227 0300 to discuss payment options applicable to you.

For complete information on refunds, please refer to our Refund Policy.
