Certificate III in Protected Horticulture added to the South Australian Government Subsidised Training List

The Department for Innovation and Skills has now included the AHC33719 Certificate III in Protected Horticulture course in their list of courses eligible for WorkReady and JobTrainer subsidized.  This now means that eligible people wishing to enter the protected horticulture industry can have their training substantially funded the South Australian Government

Ironwood is one of only two providers in Australia offering this course.  With the Northern Adelaide Plains being home to the largest protected horticulture centre’s in the Southern Hemisphere students wishing to enter the industry can have access to some of the most innovative technology this sector uses and also have specific industry training.

In addition, the Northern Adelaide Plains Food Cluster and Ironwood are launching a training program for new entrants to the Industry under the Local Jobs Program – details to follow soon.
