Ironwood On the Road with NGISA – Celebrating Industry, Learning & Student Success!

Ironwood Institute was proud to participate in the recent NGISA Southern Region Members Bus Tour — a vibrant two-day journey showcasing some of South Australia’s most innovative and inspiring green industry sites.

Organised by the Nursery & Garden Industry South Australia (NGISA), the tour connected nursery owners, horticulture professionals, and training providers across the region, strengthening ties between education and industry.

🌱 Tour Highlights

The tour included visits to:

  • Jong’s Nursery

  • Poplar Grove

  • Protea World

  • Jungle in Willunga

  • Morgan Park Garden Centre

  • and a special stop at Feather and Peck Chicken Farm

Each location offered valuable insights into the diversity and growth of South Australia’s thriving horticulture sector.
