Last week, Ironwood Institute had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from Bhutan in collaboration with Workforce BluePrint and the VET Development Centre. This visit was part of an enriching exchange of ideas and learning under the Australia Awards Short Course on Supporting Capacity Development in TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training). The program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, aims to enhance technical and vocational education across the Asia-Pacific region.
During the visit, Ironwood Institute, in partnership with the University of Adelaide, presented a compelling case study on our project, “Developing Critical Agricultural Skills Courses in India.” This presentation highlighted our ongoing efforts and expertise in advancing agricultural education and skills development, demonstrating the impact of effective curriculum design and industry collaboration in creating sustainable agricultural practices.
The delegation from Bhutan engaged in discussions on best practices, curriculum development, and strategies to improve technical and vocational education. This interaction provided a unique platform for sharing knowledge and fostering international cooperation in TVET, further strengthening ties between Bhutan and Australia in the education sector.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Wendy Perry and the dedicated team at Workforce BluePrint for their pivotal role in facilitating this meaningful exchange. Their commitment to capacity building and education development continues to inspire and drive positive change in the region.
Ironwood Institute remains committed to fostering international partnerships and promoting high-quality education and training programs. We look forward to more opportunities to collaborate and contribute to the global education community.
