Ironwood Institute was proud to partner with AgriFutures growᴬᴳ⋅ and sponsor the AgriTech Meetup and Orchard Demo event, linking into Hort Connections last week.
Hosted at the iconic LOT100 in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, the event brought together growers, innovators and industry partners for insightful presentations from Lumo Ag on precision irrigation, AgMap, and GoMicro on AI-powered quality control.
The event was also a wonderful professional development opportunity for Ironwood’s educators, helping ensure our students remain aware of the latest innovations shaping the horticulture industry.
We then headed outdoors to the Ceravolo apple orchard for live demonstrations from:
- Metamorf Engineering biochar production unit
- BURRO robots and smart implements with AgriAutomation
- AGOVOR
- Bonsai Robotics and AgTech By Design
It was inspiring to see practical technology in action and connect with the people shaping the future of horticulture, automation, sustainability and workforce capability.
